Provincial Administrator
The Provincial Administrator serves as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Provincial Government and acts as a Departmental Head under the Public Services (Management) Act and General Orders. Working within established policy frameworks, the Administrator collaborates closely with the Provincial Governor to align with the Governor’s priorities. He also consults with heads of central agencies and national departments to ensure effective governance and efficient administration across the province.

Under the Organic Law, the Provincial Administrator is accountable to the Provincial Governor and operates within the policy frameworks set by the National Executive Council and the Provincial Executive Council. The Administrator is the Chief Accountable Officer, advising the Provincial Executive Council (PEC) and overseeing the direction and control of government functions. He is responsible for coordinating and monitoring the roles of National Departments and Agencies within the province and leading policy formulation, planning, and implementation processes.
Provincial Administrator oversees the province’s economic, social, and infrastructure development, ensuring that services are effectively delivered. He maintains communication with the Department of Finance and Treasury on financial matters and perform additional responsibilities as outlined by the Organic Law or Parliament, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the provincial administration.
