Enga Government Overview
The Enga Provincial Administration was established under section 72 of the Organic Law on Provincial and Local Government Affairs (OLPG & LLG) and is comprised of two levels of administration.
The first level is the Provincial Headquarters Administration and the second is the six District Administrations. The Provincial Management Team meeting is the forum where major development issues are debated and information is disseminated regarding both the Provincial and District matters. Enga Provincial Administration plays an important role in the services delivery to all people through the district administrations. These roles are performed through implementing divisions and sections wholly or partially funded by the Provincial Government.

By taking immediate ownership over the various roles, we will ensure continuity and sustainability in the policies and programs of the Enga Provincial Government and its administration.

Through improved communication and information sharing, we will promote and maintain transparency at all levels of the organization, and through this process, it is our desire to ensure all are well versed with the organization’s visions, mission and what requires to be done (performance) in the various sectors.
Misson – Driven
By realigning our functions and responsibilities to be Mission and Vision-Driven rather than rule driven, our performance towards the attainment of the vision including the PNG Vision 2050 and the National strategic Plan (NSP) would become outcome based in generating impacts for the people’s well-being.
