Economic Services

The Economic services have been positioned to play a significant role towards the attainment of the Enga Provincial Government’s broad aim of transforming the province. To ensure success of this broad aim, the division has a vested responsibility to implement the Enga Provincial Government's economic and rural development policies through it to further assist in improving the livelihoods of the rural mass engulfed and suppressed by poverty and presently the governments focus is on cash crop development and on rural and cottage industries for improving rural participation.

Through effective coordination and closer work relations, these branches housed under the Economic Service division can be effectively lead towards the attainment of the broad vision statement as set out by the Enga Provincial Government.

Twenty-five years of stable leadership and consistent administrative machinery have resulted in EPG attracting more foreign government and NGO donor agencies to invest in all sectors in the province. ’This has been our strength and a Key strategy for addressing our development agendas.
